There is no default PIN. You will create your own 4-digit PIN during the initial setup on the edit page. This PIN protects your medical information from unauthorized edits.

Do I need a special app to scan the QR code? ▼

No! Most modern smartphones (iPhone iOS 11+ and Android 8+) have QR scanning built directly into the camera app. Simply open your camera, point it at the tag, and tap the link that appears to begin registration.

What information should I include in my profile? ▼

We recommend including: medical conditions (diabetes, heart conditions, epilepsy, etc.), allergies (medication allergies, food allergies), current medications, blood type, and emergency contacts (ICE — In Case of Emergency). This helps first responders provide the best possible care.

How do I update my information after setup? ▼

Simply scan your QR code again using your phone camera. On your profile page, scroll all the way to the bottom and click "Edit This Tag". Enter your 4-digit PIN to access the editor. Make your changes and click "Save" — your information updates instantly.

What if I forget my PIN? ▼

No problem! On the PIN entry screen, click "Login with Password". You can then log in using the email and password you created during registration. Once logged in, you can reset your PIN or update any information without needing the old PIN.

Will I be notified when someone scans my tag? ▼

Yes! You'll receive an email notification every time your tag is scanned. This gives you peace of mind and helps you track when your medical information is being accessed, whether by a first responder, a good Samaritan, or yourself.
